Welcome to the J.V. Washam Parent Teacher Organization!

For those of you joining J.V. Washam for the first time – WELCOME! We know you will find J.V. Washam a wonderful experience for your family, and it is our sincere privilege to have the opportunity to provide your children with a learning environment that will stretch them academically and encourage them socially.

This year there is no charge for a PTO membership. Therefore, whether you are a parent, sibling, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or a role model in a student’s life, everyone is a member. With more involvement and help we can make our school the best it can be for our children, our teachers, and the community. Every second counts; therefore, whether you can be active on a daily basis or as it is convenient, we welcome your assistance. The children love to have someone from their lives active in their education and light up at the opportunity for them to be involved.

Additionally, as a method of opening up the PTO for more involvement, the first 15 minutes of every PTO board meeting is for open discussion. If you would like to suggest something, to ask a question, or to address the Board, we welcome and value your input and look forward to hearing from you.
